Course Overview (English)
The WAEC-NECO Islamic Studies syllabus from SS1 to SS3 aims to assess students’ understanding of Islamic teachings, history, and moral principles. It covers key areas such as the Qur’an and Hadith, Tawhid (monotheism), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Tafsir (Qur’anic interpretation), Sirah (life of the Prophet Muhammad), and Islamic history. Students are expected to understand the significance of prayer, fasting, zakat, and hajj, and apply Islamic ethics in daily life. The syllabus also promotes tolerance, discipline, and respect for religious diversity, preparing students for responsible citizenship guided by Islamic values and principles. This course will help students to pass their WAEC/NECO Islamic Studies exams.

Darasin Nazarin Addinin Musulunci na WAEC-NECO daga SS1 zuwa SS3 na da nufin tantance fahimtar ɗalibai game da koyarwar Musulunci, tarihinta, da ƙa’idodin tarbiyya. Tana kunshe da muhimman fannoni kamar Alƙur’ani da Hadisi, Tauhidi (imanin cewa Allah ɗaya ne), Fikh (dokokin Musulunci), Tafsiri (fassararsa Alƙur’ani), Sira (rayuwar Annabi Muhammad), da tarihin Musulunci. Ana tsammanin ɗalibai su fahimci muhimmancin salla, azumi, zakka, da hajji, tare da amfani da halayen Musulunci a rayuwar yau da kullum. Manhajar tana ƙarfafa haƙuri, da’a, da girmama bambancin addini, tana shirya ɗalibai don zama nagartattun ‘yan ƙasa bisa ƙa’idodin Musulunci.
